株式会社ポケモンは、任天堂株式会社と共同で、2024年9月18日に、株式会社ポケットペア（本社：東京都品川区東五反田２丁目10番２号、以下「被告」）に対する特許権の侵害訴訟を東京地方裁判所に提起しました。 

この訴訟は、被告が開発・販売するゲーム「Palworld / パルワールド」が複数の特許権を侵害しているとして、侵害行為の差止及び損害賠償を求めるものです。 

今後も、ポケモンに関する知的財産権の侵害行為に対し、適切な対応を取っていく所存です。

Filing Lawsuit for Infringement of Patent Rights against Pocketpair, Inc. 

The Pokémon Company, together with Nintendo Co., Ltd., filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the Tokyo District Court against Pocketpair, Inc. (Office: 2-10-2 Higashigotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, “Defendant” hereafter) on September 18, 2024. 

This lawsuit seeks an injunction against infringement and compensation for damages on the grounds that Palworld, a game developed and released by the Defendant, infringes multiple patent rights. 

The Pokémon Company will continue to take appropriate actions against any infringement of its intellectual property rights.
